### How Liquidity Pool Mining Works
Each hour, the hourly rewards are distributed among all eligible Grids based on their share of the total eligible Grid trading volume.
Hourly Grid Reward
Your Grid Reward = (Your Grid Trading Volume ÷ Total Eligible Grid Trading Volume) × Hourly Rewards
For example, if three grids generate 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 USDT of eligible trading volume during an hour, and the hourly reward is 100 ASTER:
| Grid | Trading Volume | Share | Reward |
| ------ | -------------- | ------ | ----------- |
| Grid A | 1,000 USDT | 16.67% | 16.67 ASTER |
| Grid B | 2,000 USDT | 33.33% | 33.33 ASTER |
| Grid C | 3,000 USDT | 50.00% | 50.00 ASTER |
All eligible trading pairs share the same reward pool. Your rewards are calculated separately for each grid strategy.
There is no minimum Grid runtime. Any eligible trading volume generated during the hour will count toward rewards.
***
### Eligible Trading Volume
Only trading volume generated by Perpetual Grid strategies on eligible campaign trading pairs is counted.
Only the maker's trading volume will be included
The following are not counted:
* Manual trading
* Trading from non-Grid bots
* Trading from the main account outside the Grid strategy
Self-trading is also excluded from eligible trading volume.
***
### How to Participate
1. Open the Liquidity Pool Mining campaign page.
2. Browse the eligible trading pairs and their estimated bonus APY.
3. Select a trading pair and click Add Liquidity.
4. You will be redirected to the Perpetual Grid order form with the selected trading pair pre-selected.
5. Configure and create your Grid strategy.
6. Once your Grid generates eligible trading volume, you automatically participate in the hourly reward distribution.
You do not need to register separately for the campaign.
***
## Est. Bonus APY
Est. Bonus APY is an estimate of the annualized $ASTER rewards you could receive from the campaign based on current activity.
It is not a guaranteed return and should not be interpreted as the expected profitability of your Grid strategy.
The estimate is based on:
* The current hourly reward
* Recent Grid trading volume on the selected trading pair
* The total Grid trading volume across eligible campaign pairs
* The leverage configured for your Grid
#### How It Is Estimated
First, the system estimates the portion of the hourly reward attributable to the selected trading pair based on its recent Grid trading volume.
The resulting reward is then compared with the total leveraged notional of currently running Grids on that trading pair to establish a 1× leverage benchmark.
Your displayed Est. Bonus APY is then adjusted according to your configured leverage.
Higher leverage can result in a higher estimated bonus APY because it increases the notional size of your Grid strategy.
#### Important
Est. Bonus APY is calculated from recent activity and is subject to change as trading volume, participating Grids, leverage, and other campaign conditions change.
The estimate does not guarantee future rewards or returns.

### Claiming Rewards
Rewards are distributed to your account hourly after each reward period is settled.
To claim:
1. Open the Liquidity Pool Mining page.
2. Connect your wallet if you have not already done so.
3. Open Available Rewards.
4. Click Claim.
5. Confirm the claim.
Your available $ASTER rewards can be claimed together.
After a successful claim, you can view your previous claims and reward distributions under Rewards History.\
\
Note: Each hour's rewards are credited 24 hours after that hour ends. If malicious trading is detected within these 24 hours, the platform reserves the right to revoke reward eligibility.
***
### Reward History
The rewards interface provides records of your campaign rewards and claims.
You can view:
* Reward distribution time
* Token
* Reward amount
* Claim records
This allows you to track both the rewards allocated to you and the rewards you have already claimed.
***
## Reward Pool
The campaign uses a shared $ASTER reward pool.
The reward pool and campaign duration may vary by campaign period. Please refer to the Liquidity Pool Mining campaign page for the current reward pool, eligible trading pairs, and campaign period.
The hourly reward is distributed based on the eligible trading volume generated during that hour.
If there is no eligible trading volume during a period, there is no trading-volume-based distribution for that period.
***
## Important Notes
* Liquidity Pool Mining rewards are additional incentives and are separate from the normal PnL of your Grid strategy.
* Running a Grid does not guarantee a profit.
* Est. Bonus APY is an estimate only and does not guarantee future rewards or returns.
* Reward amounts depend on your Grid's eligible trading volume relative to other participating Grids.
* The reward pool is shared across all eligible campaign trading pairs.
* Campaign parameters, including eligible trading pairs, reward pool size, and campaign period, may vary between campaigns.
* Past or current reward rates should not be considered an indication of future returns.

## FAQ
#### Do I need to register for Liquidity Pool Mining?
No. Participation is automatic when you run a Perpetual Grid strategy on an eligible campaign trading pair.
#### Which trading pairs are eligible?
Only trading pairs designated for the campaign are eligible. This activity is exclusively open to Grid 2.0; the legacy Grid is not eligible for participation. Check the Liquidity Pool Mining page for the current list of eligible trading pairs and campaign eligibility requirements.
#### Does my manual trading volume count?
No. Only eligible volume generated by Perpetual Grid strategies is counted.
#### Do Maker and Taker volume both count?
No. Only eligible Maker trading volume will be counted.
#### How is my reward calculated?
Your reward is based on your Grid's share of the total eligible trading volume generated by all participating Grids during the same hourly period.
#### Does leverage affect my reward?
Your reward allocation is based on eligible trading volume, not directly on leverage. However, leverage can affect the notional size and trading activity of your Grid. Leverage is also used when calculating your Est. Bonus APY.
#### Is Est. Bonus APY guaranteed?
No. It is an estimate based on recent campaign activity and can change over time.
#### When are rewards distributed?
Rewards are calculated hourly and credited **24 hours** after each hour ends. For example, rewards earned from 10/09 00:00 to 01:00 UTC are credited at 10/10 01:00 UTC. If malicious trading is detected within these 24 hours, the platform reserves the right to revoke reward eligibility.
#### Do I need to claim my rewards immediately?
No. Once credited, rewards stay in Available Rewards until you claim them — there's no deadline.
#### Where do claimed ASTER rewards go?
Claimed ASTER is credited to your perpetual wallet balance.

# Grid Marketplace
### Overview
Grid Marketplace lets you explore currently running Perpetual Grid strategies and use their parameters as a starting point for your own Grid.
You can:
* Copy a strategy and use the same parameters.
* Reverse a Long or Short strategy to use the opposite direction.
* Review the strategy's PnL, ROI, runtime, price range, leverage, and trading activity before creating your own Grid.
Copied strategies are used as parameter snapshots. Your new Grid is independent and does not automatically follow or synchronize with the original strategy.
***
### Accessing Grid Marketplace
Open the Perpetual Grid trading panel and select the Marketplace tab.
The Marketplace displays eligible running Grid strategies as cards. You can sort the strategies by:
* Highest PnL
* Highest ROI
* Lowest PnL
* Lowest ROI
You can also filter the list by trading pair.
The displayed strategies are based on periodic data snapshots, and the page shows when the information was last updated.
***
### Strategy Information
Each Marketplace card may include:
| Information | Description |
| -------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Symbol | The trading pair used by the Grid |
| Direction | Long, Short, or Neutral |
| Leverage | Leverage configured for the Grid |
| PnL | Current profit or loss of the strategy |
| ROI | Return relative to the strategy's initial margin |
| Runtime | How long the Grid has been running |
| Min. Investment | Minimum initial margin required to reproduce the strategy |
| 24H / Total Matched Trades | Grid trading activity |
| Price Range | Price range configured for the Grid |
The displayed performance is based on the source strategy's current results and does not guarantee that you will achieve the same results.
***
## Copy a Grid Strategy
Copy allows you to use the source strategy's parameters as the starting point for your own Grid.
When you select Copy, the following parameters are carried over:
* Price range
* Number of grids
* Grid mode
* Direction
* Leverage
* Margin mode
* Grid trigger
* Stop trigger
The parameters remain editable before you create your Grid.
#### How to Copy
1. Open Marketplace.
2. Find a Grid strategy you want to use.
3. Click Copy.
4. Review the copied parameters and strategy performance.
5. Adjust the parameters if needed.
6. Enter your initial margin.
7. Create the Grid.
Your new Grid operates independently from the original strategy.
***
## Reverse a Grid Strategy
Reverse allows you to use the same Grid parameters while taking the opposite direction.
| Original Direction | Reversed Direction |
| ------------------ | ------------------ |
| Long | Short |
| Short | Long |
| Neutral | Not available |
For a Reverse strategy:
* Long becomes Short.
* Short becomes Long.
* The price range remains the same.
* The number of grids remains the same.
* Grid mode remains the same.
* Leverage remains the same.
* Margin mode remains the same.
* Stop-loss boundaries are mirrored for the opposite direction.
The Reverse option is not available for Neutral strategies.
#### How to Reverse
1. Open Marketplace.
2. Find a Long or Short Grid strategy.
3. Click Reverse.
4. Review the reversed direction and parameters.
5. Enter your initial margin.
6. Create the Grid.
***
### Check the Price Range Before Creating
Market conditions can change after a strategy snapshot is taken.
When you copy or reverse a strategy, Aster checks whether the current market price is still within the strategy's price range.
If the current price has moved outside the range, a warning will be displayed. You can then adjust the strategy manually or use the Manual settings instead.
A copied strategy's historical performance should therefore not be treated as an indication of future performance.
***
## Account Privacy
Grid Marketplace uses the existing Account Privacy setting.
If you have Account Privacy enabled, your running Grid strategies will not appear in the Marketplace.
If you enable Account Privacy after a Grid has already appeared in Marketplace, the Grid will be removed from the Marketplace during the next data update. Your Grid itself will continue running normally and will not be stopped or modified.
Marketplace does not display the owner's:
* Wallet address
* Username or nickname
* Profile picture
* Other identifying information
***
## Important Notes
* Marketplace strategies are provided for reference and parameter discovery only.
* Copying a strategy does not guarantee the same PnL, ROI, or trading results.
* Your new Grid is independent of the source Grid.
* Market conditions may change between the displayed snapshot and the time you create your Grid.
* Review the price range, leverage, margin, and other parameters carefully before creating a Grid.
* Reverse changes the trading direction but does not mean the resulting strategy will produce the opposite of the source strategy's actual PnL.
* Running a Grid involves trading risk, including the potential loss of your invested margin.
***
## FAQ
#### Does Copy automatically follow the original Grid?
No. Copy creates a new Grid using the source strategy's parameters. Your Grid does not continuously synchronize with the original strategy.
#### Can I edit the parameters after copying?
Yes. The copied parameters remain editable before you create your Grid.
#### What happens when I use Reverse?
Reverse changes Long to Short or Short to Long while retaining the applicable Grid parameters.
Can I Reverse a Neutral Grid?
No. Reverse is only available for Long and Short strategies.
#### Will I get the same PnL as the source strategy?
No. The displayed PnL and ROI are historical/current results of the source strategy. Your results may differ because market conditions, entry timing, and other factors can change.
#### Why is a strategy marked as outside the price range?
It means the current market price has moved outside the price range used by the source strategy. You should review or adjust the parameters before creating the Grid.
#### Who can see my Grid in the Marketplace?
Your running Grid can appear in the Marketplace when Account Privacy is disabled and the Grid meets the Marketplace eligibility conditions.

# Hedge Mode
### **What is Hedge Mode?**
Hedge Mode is a trading strategy that allows futures traders to manage and mitigate market risk by holding two opposing positions — a long and a short — under the same contract simultaneously. This lets you capitalize on market fluctuations from both directions while minimizing potential losses.
### **One-Way Mode vs. Hedge Mode**
#### **One-Way Mode**
In One-Way Mode, you can hold positions in only one direction per contract. If you open a position anticipating a move in one direction, you cannot simultaneously open an opposing position without first canceling or reducing the existing one.
#### **Hedge Mode**
Hedge Mode allows you to hold both long and short positions at the same time under the same contract. For example, you can maintain both long and short positions in a BTCUSDT contract simultaneously. This flexibility helps you adapt to market dynamics and manage risk across different timeframes.
### **How to Switch Between One-Way Mode and Hedge Mode**
1. Open the trading interface and click the Settings button.

**Promotion**: Maker volume on RWA perpetual pairs now counts **10x** toward the Market Maker fee tiers.\
\
For market maker rebates, the trading interface will display your applicable Taker fee rate (determined by your volume tier or marker volume percentage) and a Maker fee of "0". **Please note that our system calculates and disburses Maker rebates every hour based on the published fee schedule.** These rebates can be tracked in the transaction history under Aster Perpetual.
A maker’s volume for a given trading pair is counted as effective only if the following two conditions are met:
**A. Quoting Standards:**
* Bid and Offer sizes meet or exceed the minimum size requirement for the pairs
* Bid-Offer Spread is within the allowed limit (e.g., ≤0.1% for BTC/ETH/SOL, ≤0.25% for other pairs).
* Orders remain live in the orderbook for at least 0.5 seconds at a time.
**B. Qualifying Percentage for that Pair on the Day (from 00:00 to 23:59 UTC):**
* The pair is only counted if the MM maintains these standards for ≥70% of that trading day.
* If \[Qualifying %] < 70%, that pair's volume is excluded from the MM’s effective maker volume.
Kindly refer to 5. Quoting Qualification Details for supported pairs.
**Quoting Qualification Details and Pair Type**
Note: If a pair’s \[Qualifying Percentage] < 70%, this pair does not qualify for preferential fees on the next day. Preferential fees will only be awarded to qualified pairs.
In order to qualify for a particular pair in a day, MMs must satisfy the following conditions simultaneously at least 70% of the day (0:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC) :
* Total Bids shown > Cumulative Minimum Size;
* Total Offers shown > Cumulative Minimum Size;
* Orders must be outstanding in the order book for at least 0.5 seconds;
* The Bid/Offer spread is calculated as( \[Offer price at Minimum Size] - \[Bid price at Minimum Size ]) / { (\[Offer price at Minimum Size] + \[Bid price at Minimum Size]) /2 } < \[Required Bid/Offer spread].
