ou claim or burn.
Any wallet can also donate to a vault. The vault adds a donation completely to the burn fund. A donation gives no owner share.
## Claim the owner share
The launchpad owner sees **Launchpad fees** in **Earnings** on the launchpad page, in the **Earnings** tab of **Manage**, and in the profile.
* **Claim all currencies** claims every currency with an owner balance.
* **Claim shown** claims the currencies on the current page.
The vault pays the owner share to the payout address. One claim covers up to 100 currencies. A launchpad with more currencies uses pages.
If the app cannot read some amounts, **Claim all currencies** stops. Use **Claim shown**, or refresh the amounts.
## Burn launchpad tokens to claim the burn fund
Any wallet can claim the burn fund. The wallet burns a fixed amount of launchpad tokens and receives the burn fund in the currencies that it selects. The burn amount is **100,000 launchpad tokens**, which is 0.01% of the supply.
<Steps>
<Step title="Open the burn panel">
Select **Claim fees** in **Earnings** on the launchpad page. The panel is **Burn tokens to claim fees**.
</Step>
<Step title="Review the amounts">
The panel shows **You burn** and **You receive** for each currency, with a USD estimate when a price is available.
</Step>
<Step title="Approve and confirm">
Approve the launchpad token if the wallet asks for it. Then confirm **Burn tokens and claim fees**.
</Step>
</Steps>
The vault moves your launchpad tokens to the dead address `0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD`. The burn is permanent. A burn fund held in the launchpad token itself also goes to the dead address.
One burn can claim up to 20 currencies. The app hides **Claim fees** when known prices show that the burn costs more than the burn fund. A missing price does not hide it, so check the value yourself before you burn. The burn amount and the burn fund must both be above zero.
Each currency has a minimum amount, and the burn reverts when a delivery is below it. The burn also has a deadline and a nonce. When another wallet burns first, your request fails. Refresh the amounts and review again.
## Earnings summary
The **Earnings** section shows these values:
| Value | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Total earned | All income that the vault received |
| Burned | Launchpad tokens that wallets burned to claim the burn fund |
| Burn fund | The current burn fund in each currency |
The page also links to the vault contract as **Earnings contract**.
## What a pause does not stop
A pause of new launchpads or new token launches never stops these actions:
* The owner claim of the owner share.
* The burn of launchpad tokens to claim the burn fund.
* Trades of existing tokens.
No role can hold funds inside a vault.
## Burn amount changes
The registry owner sets the burn amount for new launchpads. The threshold setter can change the burn amount of one launchpad. The amount must stay from 0.0001% to 1% of the launchpad token supply. A pending burn that uses the old amount fails.
## When the owner changes
The vault pays the owner share to the payout address at the time of the claim. The handover sets the payout address of the new owner. The app thus claims the owner share of the seller when the seller proposes the new owner. The seller can claim later income until the new owner accepts. After that, the new owner receives the owner share that the seller did not claim. See [Transfer a launchpad](/launchpad/launchpads/transfer).
# Launch a token on a launchpad
Source: https://docs.o1.exchange/launchpad/launchpads/launch-tokens
Launch a Tax token on a launchpad. The launchpad sets launch rules and receives a share of the tax.
A token that you launch on a launchpad is a [Tax token](/launchpad/tax/overview) on the chain of the launchpad, Base or Robinhood. It joins the launchpad when it launches. The launchpad receives a share of its tax for the life of the token.
## Start the launch
Open the page of the launchpad and select the launch action. The create page shows **Launch a token on** and the launchpad name. The form is the Tax create form, with the terms of the launchpad added.
Each token launch on a launchpad pays a 0.001 ETH launch fee, plus network gas and any Dev Buy.
On Base, the token can pair with the 15 Base crypto assets. On Robinhood, it can pair with ETH or USDG. A launchpad can limit these assets.
## Launchpad terms
Each launchpad sets one of two tax modes:
| Mode | What you see | What you can change |
| - | - | - |
| The launchpad sets its share | "This launchpad sets its share at" a percent | Your buy tax, sell tax, creator funds, dividends and burns. The **Launchpad funds** share is fixed |
| The launchpad sets the tax | "This launchpad sets the tax." | Nothing in the tax. You use the exact values of the launchpad |
The launchpad share is a percent of the tax that remains after the protocol fee. It sits next to creator funds, dividends and burns in the split. All shares must add up to 100%.
## Launch rules
The launchpad owner can also set these rules:
| Rule | Effect |
| - | - |
| Who can launch | **Anyone**, **Allowlist** or **Closed** |
| Paired assets | A launchpad can limit the paired assets. It can allow at most 64 assets |
| Tax ranges | Minimum and maximum values for the buy tax, sell tax and each share |
| Dividend threshold | Minimum and maximum token amounts for the dividend minimum |
The create page shows the rules of the launchpad. A rule change applies to new tokens only. Existing tokens keep their tax and their launchpad.
## When you cannot launch
The form shows **You cannot launch here** when a rule blocks you. These are the usual causes:
* The launchpad is closed.
* The launchpad uses an allowlist, and your wallet is not on it.
* The launchpad allows no paired asset now.
* The rules of the launchpad conflict with the tax rules of the market. Contact the launchpad owner.
* o1 paused token launches on this launchpad, or on all launchpads.
If the launchpad changes its tax while you fill in the form, the form shows **Tax terms changed**. Review the new terms, then launch.
## How the launchpad accepts a token
The launch names the vault of the launchpad as its integrator. Before the pool opens, the Tax hook asks the vault to accept the launch. The vault checks the pauses and every launch rule. When the vault rejects the launch, the complete launch transaction fails, and no token exists.
The app does the same check and a simulation before the wallet request. A rejected launch thus usually stops before you sign.
<Warning>
If the vault gives no answer, for example because the check runs out of gas, the launch can complete without membership. The token then exists, but it is not on the launchpad. The token still pays its fixed launchpad share to the vault. Nobody can remove that share or add the membership later. The app shows the result after the launch.
</Warning>
## After the launch
* The launch result shows the launchpad that lists the token.
* The launchpad owner can hide the token from the launchpad page, restore it or pin it. A hidden token still trades on o1.
* Your creator funds, dividends and burns work as for any Tax token. See [Claim creator funds](/launchpad/trading/claims).
* The launchpad share, the tax and the split of your token never change.
# Manage a launchpad
Source: https://docs.o1.exchange/launchpad/launchpads/manage
Change the earnings payout, launch rules, details, tokens, ownership and page of your launchpad.
Connect the wallet that owns the launchpad. Open the launchpad page, then use **Manage** or **Edit page**. The **My launchpads** tab of your profile lists the launchpads that your wallet owns.
**Manage** has five tabs: **Earnings**, **Launch rules**, **Details**, **Tokens** and **Ownership**. Some changes are onchain transactions. Other changes need only a wallet signature and cost no gas.
| Change | Tab | How you confirm |
| - | - | - |
| Owner fee claims and payout address | Earnings | Onchain transaction |
| Launch rules, allowlist, paired assets | Launch rules | Onchain transaction |
| Identity and launch guidelines | Details | Wallet signature |
| Hidden and pinned tokens | Tokens | Wallet signature |
| Ownership transfer | Ownership | Onchain transactions. See [Transfer a launchpad](/launchpad/launchpads/transfer) |
| Page | Edit page | Wallet signature |
A signature starts an owner session of 30 minutes.
## Earnings
The **Earnings** tab shows the launchpad totals and your owner fees. You claim the owner share here. See [Earnings and burns](/launchpad/launchpads/earnings).
Owner fees go to the payout address. Select **Change** to set a new address. At creation, it is the wallet that created the launchpad. The vault rejects the vault itself, the registry and the fee escrow as a payout address.
The tab also shows your owner share. Registration fixes it.
## Launch rules
The **Launch rules** tab sets the rules for new tokens. A change never changes an existing token.
| Rule | Options |
| - | - |
| Who can launch | **Anyone**, **Allowlist** or **Closed** |
| Allowlist | Paste wallet addresses. A smart wallet must use the address of its own account |
| Paired assets | **Any asset**, or **Only selected** with the assets that you select. At most 64 assets |
| Tax ranges | A range for the buy tax, the sell tax, creator funds, burn allocation, holder dividends and launchpad funds |
| Dividend threshold | A range for the dividend minimum, in tokens |
Drag the ends of a slider, or type a value. An empty box means no limit. **Use exact values** sets each range to one valid example tax.
The form checks that at least one valid Tax token can launch with your rules. When no token can launch, the form tells you which rule to change. The vault does the same check onchain.
Select **Save launch rules**. One transaction can add and remove up to 200 addresses in each list. A larger change needs more transactions, and the form shows the number. **Reset** discards changes that you did not save.
<Note>
An empty allowlist with **Allowlist** admits nobody. **Only selected** with no selected asset admits no asset. Neither empty list turns its rule off.
</Note>
To stop new launches at once, set **Who can launch** to **Closed**. The vault saves **Closed** without the tax check, so it always works.
## Details
The **Details** tab changes the name, logo, description and links. The URL never changes.
The name uses the token name length limit. The one-line description uses up to 160 characters. Links can use `http://` or `https://`. An X link must use `x.com`, and a Telegram link must use `t.me` or `telegram.me`. Both social links must include a path after the host.
**Launch guidelines** holds up to 2,000 characters. Creators see it when they launch a token on your launchpad. Select **Save guidelines**.
## Tokens
The **Tokens** tab hides, restores or pins the tokens on your launchpad.
* A hidden token does not show on your launchpad page. It still trades on o1.
* You can pin up to 10 tokens. The tab shows the number of pinned tokens. The **Pinned tokens** section shows them in pin order.
* The launchpad token always stays visible.
## Ownership
The **Ownership** tab proposes a new owner. After the new owner accepts, you can no longer manage this launchpad. See [Transfer a launchpad](/launchpad/launchpads/transfer).
## Page editor
**Edit page** opens the editor. It saves drafts in your browser. **Publish** needs a wallet signature.
| Area | Options |
| - | - |
| Sections | **Hero**, **Token feed**, **Pinned tokens** and **Questions**. Up to 20 sections |
| Design | Presets, colors from your logo, fonts, corners, patterns and a background image |
| Layout | Layout templates. Your content stays when you change the layout |
| Preview | Desktop and 390 px phone width |
The text color must reach a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against the background. The editor shows **Auto-adjust** when it does not. A page holds up to 64 KB of content.
When another session publishes a newer version, the editor asks which version stays.
## When o1 pauses your launchpad
The registry owner or guardian can pause new token launches on one launchpad. **Manage** then shows a **Paused** badge and the notice **o1 paused this launchpad.** Existing tokens keep their trades. Your owner claims and the burn fund claims stay available.
# How launchpads work
Source: https://docs.o1.exchange/launchpad/launchpads/overview
Run your own launchpad on o1 with Launchpad of Launchpads. Creators launch Tax tokens on it, and your launchpad earns a share of their tax.
Launchpad of Launchpads lets you run your own launchpad inside o1 Launchpad. A launchpad is your own token launch platform. It has a permanent URL, a public page, its own token and a vault. Creators launch Tax tokens on your launchpad. Each of these tokens pays a share of its tax to your vault.
<Note>
Launchpad of Launchpads runs on Base (`8453`) and Robinhood (`4663`). Each chain has its own registry. Both chains use the same values. See [Live configuration](/launchpad/reference/live-configuration#launchpad-release-overview) for the settings of each chain.
</Note>
## Parts of a launchpad
| Part | What it is |
| - | - |
| URL | A permanent name, for example `launch.o1.exchange/pads/example-launchpad`. Nobody can change it after creation. The same URL can exist on Base and on Robinhood. A link without a chain opens the launchpad with that URL. When both chains have the URL, the link opens the Base launchpad. A Robinhood link adds `?chain=4663` |
| Launchpad token | An [\$O launch](/launchpad/wsto/overview) token, paired with wstO, that you create in the same flow. Its holders can burn it to claim the burn fund |
| Vault | A contract that the registry creates for your launchpad. It receives the launchpad share of each token on your launchpad |
| Launch rules | Who can launch, which paired assets they can use, and which tax ranges they must use |
| Page | A public page with your name, logo, links, statistics, token feed and your own sections |
The **Launchpads** directory lists every published launchpad. You can filter it by chain. The o1 home page can also show the tokens of one launchpad.
## How the money moves
<Steps>
<Step title="A creator launches a token on your launchpad">
The token is a Tax token. It names your vault as its launchpad. Your vault checks the launch against your launch rules before the pool opens.
</Step>
<Step title="Each trade pays the token tax">
The protocol takes its part of the tax first. The launchpad share is a percent of the tax that remains after the protocol fee.
</Step>
<Step title="Your vault receives the launchpad share">
The vault receives the share in the paired asset of the token, for example ETH or USDC.
</Step>
<Step title="The vault splits each income">
50% becomes the owner share. The other 50% goes into the burn fund.
</Step>
<Step title="Owner and holders claim">
The owner claims the owner share. Any wallet that burns 100,000 launchpad tokens receives the burn fund in the currencies that it selects.
</Step>
</Steps>
For example, a token on your launchpad has a 3% buy tax and your launchpad share is 10%. The protocol takes 0.5% of the trade. 2.5% of the trade remains, and your vault gets 10% of it: 0.25% of the trade. The owner share is 0.125% of the trade, and the burn fund receives 0.125%.
## Current values
| Item | Value |
| - | - |
| Launchpad registration fee | 0.001 ETH, plus network gas. The launchpad token itself has no creation fee |
| Token launch fee on a launchpad | 0.001 ETH for each token, plus network gas |
| Default launchpad share | 10% of the tax that remains after the protocol fee. You can choose from 0% to 100% |
| Owner share | 50% of each vault income. Registration fixes the owner share |
| Burn fund | The other 50% of each vault income |
| Burn amount to claim the burn fund | 100,000 launchpad tokens, which is 0.01% of the supply |
| Paired assets for tokens on a launchpad | Base: the 15 Base crypto assets, for example ETH, USDC and cbBTC. Robinhood: ETH and USDG. See [Live configuration](/launchpad/reference/live-configuration#launchpad-release-overview) |
| Tax rules for tokens on a launchpad | The Tax rules of each chain: 1% to 10% buy and sell tax, protocol fee included. See [How taxes work](/launchpad/tax/overview) |
## What o1 controls
The registry owner sets the registration fee, the burn amount and the owner share for new launchpads. A change does not change the owner share of an existing launchpad.
The registry owner or the registry guardian can pause three things:
* The creation of new launchpads.
* New token launches on all launchpads.
* New token launches on one launchpad.
A pause never stops trades of existing tokens, owner claims or burn fund claims. See [Configuration and governance](/launchpad/architecture/deployment-governance#launchpad-roles).

# Transfer a launchpad
Source: https://docs.o1.exchange/launchpad/launchpads/transfer
Move a launchpad and the creator rights of its token to a new owner. The two transfers are separate.
A launchpad and the creator rights of its token are two separate things. Each one moves with its own proposal and its own acceptance.
| Item | Contract | What it controls |
| - | - | - |
| Launchpad ownership | Launchpad registry | Launch rules, identity, page, tokens, payout address and the owner share |
| Creator rights of the launchpad token | \$O launch factory | Name, symbol and metadata of the launchpad token |
<Warning>
The contracts do not hold payment, and they do not link the two transfers. A buyer must pay the seller only after the buyer accepts both the creator rights and the launchpad.
</Warning>
## Seller steps
<Steps>
<Step title="Claim your owner share">
Claim the owner share before the handover. After the acceptance, the payout address of the new owner receives the owner share that you did not claim.
</Step>
<Step title="Propose the new owner">
Open **Manage**, then the **Ownership** tab. Under **Transfer launchpad ownership**, enter the new owner address and select **Propose new owner**. The proposal claims your owner share first. If that claim fails, the proposal does not start, and **Earnings** shows the reason. After the new owner accepts, you can no longer manage this launchpad.
</Step>
<Step title="Propose the creator rights">
On the page of the launchpad token, propose the creator rights to the same wallet. You can cancel this proposal until the buyer accepts it.
</Step>
</Steps>
Until the new owner accepts, you stay the owner. You can claim income that arrives in this period. You can also cancel the launchpad proposal.
## Buyer steps
