# How Points Work in Aster Harvest: Stage 4
Just like in previous stages, Aster continues to use points as the core rewards mechanism for Stage 4. Points are calculated on a weekly basis, with each “epoch” running from Monday 00:00 UTC to Sunday 23:59 UTC, unless otherwise specified.
**What are points?**
Points are Aster Stage 4 Airdrop points for trading on Aster Perpetual and Spot (Note: 1001x trades are excluded and do not earn points).
**Scoring Formula:**
Final Points = (Trading points + Position Points + Aster Asset points +Liquidation points+ Profit and Loss Points) x Team boost + Referral points

* Each category carries its own weighting to ensure balanced and fair rewards.

**Trading Points Score**

# Team boosts
#### Team Boost in Stage 4
Everyone in a referral family is a team. Teams can enjoy team boosts. In Stage 4, the team boost mechanism continues to reward cumulative trading activity within your referral team but with important improvements to enhance collaboration and consistency.
A team is composed of the following members:
* The person who invited you (A)
* Other invitees of the person who invited you (B)
* Yourself (C )
* Your invitees (D)
For example: Yuki invited you and Wyn to Aster. You invited Zen, and Zen invited Ben.

* You = C
* Zen = D
* Ben is not part of your team because he is a referral of your referral (second level).
**How team boosts work**
* Team boosts are based on the team’s cumulative points earned from trading on Aster Perpetual and Spot.
* Unlike Stage 2 where team boosts reset weekly at the start of each epoch, in Stage 4 the team boost accumulates continuously throughout the entire campaign without resetting.
* This change means your team’s progress is preserved, encouraging long-term collaboration and steady growth.
* When a new member joins a team, the team boost takes effect for them within a few hours, allowing immediate benefit without waiting for the next epoch.

Wyn, Yuki, and Zen are a team. On the previous hour, they earned:
